Multhana is an Indigenous owned business

Multhana Property Services is an Indigenous owned business whose purpose is to create training and employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Queensland landscaping, construction & building maintenance, and cleaning industry.

Multhana translates to “coming together to help each other” in the Kalkadoon Language. This is the ideology behind our business.

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions to our clients across Queensland’s commercial, industrial and government sectors. Our cost-effective and efficient solutions are underpinned by seasoned project management and industry knowledge.

Our foundation and purpose

Multhana Property Services was founded in 2017 by Joseph Wallace, current Managing Director, alongside CMBM Facility Services’ Managing Director, Mark Hohn, and Director, Damien Cann.

This partnership combines CMBM’s strong footprint in the building maintenance and facility services industry with Joseph’s expertise in Indigenous employment and reconciliation in the Aboriginal community.

Joseph has worked within Commonwealth and Queensland Government Departments, Indigenous organisations and in the private sector for over 25 years. His personal experience of Indigenous issues, and professional qualifications, together drive Multhana’s efforts in making an impact within the Aboriginal community.

As an Indigenous owned business, Multhana Property Services are committed to helping your organisation fulfil your Indigenous employment objectives. We would like to acknowledge this as the first step towards bridging the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous employment in the wider community.

Our team

Joesph Wallace, Managing Director

I, Joseph Wallace, recognise myself as an Indigenous Man from Jirrabal Rainforest Aboriginal descendants in the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland, and the Juru Aboriginal descendants in Bowen, North Queensland.

As the founder and Managing Director of Multhana Property Services, Joseph combines his personal experience with Indigenous employment & training with his 25-year career in Aboriginal and community services.

Joseph’s passion for Indigenous issues drives his professional and personal aim of strengthening employment foundations in the Indigenous community.

Community Focus

Over the past few years, we have quickly made ourselves known by continuing to build and strengthen relationships with Indigenous communities, traditional owners and governments.
