“My favourite thing about Multhana is definitely the people. It’s a very friendly and welcoming work environment. I feel very fortunate to have a job that I love, there is no negativity in our team.”

Toowoomba-born Paul has been with Multhana since the beginning, having joined David Wirth, Landscape Services Manager, on the landscaping team in 2017.

After finishing school, Paul moved to Brisbane to find more opportunities in the landscaping industry.

Paul is from the Bigambul Indigenous people of the Northern Tablelands and Border Rivers regions on the New South Wales and Queensland border.

The name Bigambul comes from the Indigenous word biga or pika, which translate to ‘yes’ in English. In 2001 the Bigambul people were successful in their native title claim over 24,188 square kilometres in South Western Queensland.

What is your favourite thing about working at Multhana?

My favourite thing about working at Multhana is definitely the people. It’s such a friendly work environment; we all are focused on the work and just have a good time. We make the most of it and tend to have a laugh.

It’s great to be able to come into work and make the most of being outdoors and working with your hands.

What are you passionate about?

I love the outdoors. When I was growing up, we would all be going camping, fishing or hiking in our spare time. I hate being stuck indoors!

Do you have any strange phobias?

I hate feet!
