Multhana were pleased to construct the UQ Reconciliation Garden in conjunction with Arcadia Landscape Architecture for The University of Queensland‘s Herston campus.
Designed in consultation with the local Indigenous community, the garden serves as a meaningful connection to country for staff, students, and visitors to the area.
In addition to featuring Grass Trees, chosen for their traditional use as food, drink, and building material, Multhana used the sustainable ‘rammed earth’ construction method to incorporate dirt from the project site into the seating areas.
