Meet our people
“To me, reconciliation means the restoration of friendly relations. People like me, a visitor to this land, must remember the horrendous history the Indigenous people of Australia had to endure. For this great country was forged on the backs of the Indigenous peoples of this land.
I pay respect and give thanks for how blessed I am to live and thrive here in Australia. Thank you, Tangata Whenua.“
Hailey
Site Supervisor, Cleaning Division
“I see my role at Multhana as not just a job, but an opportunity for growth – a real career pathway.
The team are all so supportive and encouraging, it makes all the difference. I am so appreciative of everything this role has to offer. Coming to work is an enjoyable experience, it is one of the best places I have worked at. I am also really enjoying being able to put my knowledge into practice.”
Jasmine
Landscaper, Landscaping Division
“There are so many different cultures within Multhana. From the outside, you might assume, ‘they’re all Aboriginal’, but that doesn’t mean we’re from the same mob, or have the same history.
We’re lucky to have so many different cultures within our organisation – we can learn from each other. Being open to diversity can enrich your life professionally, and personally too.”
Melisa,
Client Services Officer, Corporate
“My favourite thing about working at Multhana is definitely the people. It’s such a friendly work environment; we all are focused on the work and just have a good time. We make the most of it and tend to have a laugh.
It’s great to be able to come into work and make the most of being outdoors and working with your hands.”

Learn more about Reconciliation
Reconciliation has raised broader questions about our national identity and the acceptance of Indigenous histories, cultures, and rights in our nation’s story.
The formal process of Reconciliation began as a result of the 1991 Report on the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody.
Today, the notion of reconciliation refers to rebuilding the relationship between First Nations people and the wider Australian community.
Reconciliation is no longer seen as a single issue or agenda, but rather an ongoing process of healing and justice for all Australians.
